The American Village has received a $300,000 matching grant from the Daniel Foundation. This grant is available each of the next three years, matching contributions up to $100,000 per year.
If you have ever considered making a contribution to the American Village, or have contributed in the past, this is the opportunity to DOUBLE YOUR DONATION!
Why should you make a contribution to the American Village?
The crisis in U.S. Civics and History illiteracy is playing out before our eyes like never before. It seems fewer and fewer of our nation’s young people understand or have the benefit of being taught about the exceptional nature of our founding principles and the benefits those principles have delivered to people all around the world. Nor are many young people being taught about the most important civic role in the United States – the role of Citizen.
The American Village has a unique opportunity to teach the vital lessons of liberty and constitutional self-government to our youth and adult citizens, equipping and motivating young people to become inspired citizens and future leaders, and reinforcing the obligation for all Americans to serve as stewards of the liberty and freedom our founding generations secured.
As we look toward the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, the American Village has considerable work to do, and we have bold, exciting goals to achieve. With your help, the Village is committed to developing new educational programs and experiences, expanding and enhancing our public events and group programs, undertaking key facility and infrastructure projects (most notable among these capital projects will be the completion of a replica of Philadelphia’s Independence Hall), and much more!
For the first time in our nearly 25 years of operation, the American Village is fast approaching a time when we will be able to offer elementary, middle, high school, and public programming simultaneously, but we need your help.
As we reach our 25th anniversary in 2024, and our Nation approaches it’s 250th anniversary in 2026, we need your support and partnership in order to fully maximize the impact our institution can make in teaching the vital lessons of American liberty and constitutional self-government to our youth and adult citizens in Alabama, the Southeast, and the Nation.
Will you please answer this call to support the mission of the American Village, and have your donation DOUBLED through the Daniel Foundation challenge grant?
You can make a one-time gift, or perhaps you would consider becoming a regular monthly supporter at a rate of $25, $50 or $100/month?
All gifts, regardless of size, truly make a difference and will expand the American Village’s efforts and effectiveness as we work to increase our reach and impact. And all gifts will be matched up to $100,000/year for the next three years.
Your gift will help us to strengthen our educational programs and continue to make them even more engaging and powerful by enhancing the teaching of the vital lessons of liberty to our youth as we embark on the journey to expand the number of students served on-campus to 100,000 each year, drawing school and youth groups from throughout the Nation.
Citizens, leaders, and stewards: all are called to keep the Republic. Thank you for answering the call and supporting this important work!
And thanks to a challenge grant through The Daniel Foundation, every dollar you give will be matched 100%!
