Look no further. The Lucille Ryals Thompson Colonial Chapel
at American Village provides the perfect setting for your wedding.
Reminiscent of Early America's lovely chapels, The Colonial
Chapel features details that will set your ceremony apart. The
building is patterned after one of America's oldest churches,
Bruton Parish Church of Williamsburg, Virginia. A 100-foot tall
steeple and an impressive antique wooden pulpit imported from a
church in England are just some of the elements you and your
guests will remember for a lifetime.

Inside the Colonial Chapel, the rays of late afternoon light filter
through arched windows. Polished brass chandeliers cast a gentle
glow of period lighting, accenting the chapel's historically inspired
interior. More than 250 guests can be comfortably seated in the
richly wooden paneled box seating.
Beyond the Chapel, you and your wedding party will experience
beautiful grounds and historically inspired buildings. Our venues
are also available for bridal teas, luncheons, rehearsal dinners
and receptions. The rustic elegance of the American Village
historic barn is ideal for receptions or wedding parties.
Through our personalized service and extra attention to details
we create a relaxed atmosphere for all brides on their special day.
